Dr. Arouni is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, and moved to Omaha to attend Creighton University, where she received her Bachelors and Medical Degrees. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Creighton University, where she was chosen as Chief Resident. Next, she did her Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center which, at the time, was the second-largest liver transplant center in the world. She maintains current certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Arouni is the founding member and managing partner of Omaha Gastroenterology Consultants, P.C. Her special area of interest in Gastroenterology is colon cancer screening and surveillance. Her professional memberships include the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Gastroenterological Endoscopy. She was promoted, via the nomination of her colleagues, to Fellowship in the American Gastroenterological Association as one of the first group of Fellows ever named.
Taylor was born and raised in Omaha, where she attended Marian High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas. During and after college, she worked as a CNA at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She graduated with honors from the Physician Assistant program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2016. Shortly after, she began her career at Omaha Gastroenterology Consultants.
